Why I’m Doing This Again

Competing in a bikini competition is not just about the stage—it’s about the discipline, commitment, and transformation that comes with the process. Even though it’s incredibly difficult, I love the structure it brings to my life.

But this time, I’m doing things differently. In the past, I picked a competition and rushed to train for that date. This time, I’m giving myself the grace to train, grow, and prepare until I feel ready, then I’ll pick a show. More importantly, this isn’t just about a goal—it’s about making a lifelong change for my health and overall well-being.


The Plan: Training & Nutrition

As of now, I’m just beginning my journey. I don’t have progress to report yet, but I have a clear roadmap to get me there.

Goal: Lose 40 lbs and drop to under 20% body fat
Training Approach: Split weight training + HIIT cardio
Nutrition Approach: Intermittent fasting and clean, inflammation-free eating

The Challenges: Overcoming Bad Habits & Cravings

This journey hasn’t been all smooth sailing. My biggest struggles so far?

A serious sweet tooth – Sugar cravings are real, but I’m focusing on finding healthier alternatives and understanding the root cause of my cravings.
Bad habits – Instead of forcing change, I’m learning to understand why I make certain choices and shift my mindset.
Adapting to my body at this age – This time around, I’ve realized that my body has different needs than it did years ago. Recovery, hormone balance, and metabolism all play a bigger role now.

Rather than beating myself up, I’m taking it one day at a time. I’m allowing space for grace, tracking my progress with a fitness planner, and using mindset tools like guided journals to stay focused.

Even though I’m early in this journey, I’m already seeing victories:

Adjusting for consistency – Instead of forcing myself into unrealistic routines, I’m designing a lifestyle that works long-term.


The Vision: What Success Looks Like

For me, success isn’t just about hitting a number on the scale—it’s about:

Once I complete my transformation and compete again, I’m not stopping there. This is just the beginning. My long-term plan?
